In memory of J.R.R. Tolkien
Ever since I was a child, I remember being immersed in fantasy. I used to dream about a valiant knight fighting injustice in the most noble way he possibly could. I used to dream about a wizard that would come and defeat all evil. I used to dream of a female warrior that would defy every male character and survive to tell the story. Ever since I was a child, I remember wanting to make a difference in the world. To create something bigger than itself and give hope to others just like so many other authors have done before. Like so many others had done to me. Today, I went to the cinema to watch Tolkien. The movie was absolutely brilliant. It made me see just how much I needed to know about Tolkien's backstory and see how far this orphan boy went. I sat through the whole movie, not even looking at my phone once - which on this day and age takes a lot of dedication.
