News Update!
Hey everyone! I know, I know... Long time no write...
How have you all been? Good, I would hope. Longingly coming by the blog and waiting for an update or a new post... But you got nothing. Absolutely nothing.
Well, since we last spoke, I was telling you about the wonders of going to the cinema all by yourself and the fantastic watch that Tolkien was. Now, around 5 months later I am here to tell you that I have been waiting for a few people to go watch Hustlers... How the tables have turned.
In these past few months, I have been a little bit busy. I went to Portugal in June and then, the day after I came back I started working at Skinny Dip!
Ever since I started working here, I have learnt so much. I have been in doing as much as I can to improve myself and the store and still keep on top of everything else. One of the main things about me that you should probably know is that I am extremely competitive and I get bored quite easily. This combination makes me try finding new ways to entertain myself throughout a shift. This is how I figured out how to check who is making the most sales and then I set targets for myself. It could either be
“Make the most sales today”
or even,
“Make the most sales this week”
but above all, since I started I have been aiming for
“Make the most sales this month”.
Every month I try to achieve this and so far, there has only been one month that I was slightly behind one of my colleagues. And the main reason for it is because she does an extra day every week. So I still count myself as a winner for being so close to her when it comes to bringing the most profit to the shop.
Not only this, but I have also been looking for a job that I would actually want to keep long term. Whilst I haven’t found one just yet, I am still applying and trying to get to the interview stages of the applications!
On a side note, I am also going to be getting the iPhone 11 Pro Max soon! I will be trading my phone in (iPhone 8) and I will be making a review on the main differences and how I am finding the new model. I have looked online quite a bit for a review of the Pro Max and a comparison to the 8, but it seems like nobody is comparing the two of them. Mostly because they are different sizes, people usually compare the Pro Max to the 8 Plus, which isn’t exactly the same as the one I currently have.
So fear not! I might not be a tech blog, but I am still able to compare them and let you know if the switch is easy, how I am finding it and I will also do my best to compare it to the iPhone 11. (This is if Britt always me to compare them side by side and to see the main differences between them!)
